3.5 starsLoved this quote from the book:"Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup."Charley Davidson is a PI and a consultant to the Albuquerque Police Department. She helps them solve crimes in a rather unique way. She asks the victims who killed them. Dead people are drawn to Charley because - get this - she sparkles! Then there is the mysterious Reyes Farrow, the God of Fantasies and all things sensual. Enough said. You've got to read the book to find out more about him.The book has a special kind of humor about it. At times, it felt a little tiresome, almost as though it had a canned laugh track. I did enjoy the little quips at the beginning of each chapter. They included gems such as:"I'd have a longer attention span if there weren't so many shiny things.""ADD. A lifetime of distractions.""You know you have ADD when - Look! A chicken!"I must admit that I didn't really like this book until the last few chapters when the story seemed to come together for me. Now I feel the need to really read the next book Second Grave on the Left which is expected to come out mid-August.
