The Vampire Academy series is a guilty pleasure of mine. I love the books, the characters, and the vampire lore. I really wanted to like Rose. I wanted her to save Dimitri. I wanted her to be with Dimitri. I was Team Dimitri. I just found that Rose was so angsty and so self-involved. It really took away from my enjoyment of the book.I look forward to reading the next book because I really want to know what happens next.
