What I liked about Hunger: There was an ethnically diverse group of kids, and the kids were behaving as kids.What I didn't like about Hunger: This book was too long and at parts extremely slow paced. Also a little bit unrealistic with regards to kids tampering with nuclear power plants and fuel rods....Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Gone and was excited to find Hunger available at the library. But....where Gone was new and interesting...Hunger seemed to drag for me.I still think that it is worth reading if you are in the target age group -- middle school to high school.
