I really liked Graceling so when I spotted Fire at the library, I grabbed it. Fire is a companion book to Graceling so you can read either book first.Fire is the story of Fire, a "human" monster from the Dells. She has the ability to read minds, broadcast thoughts, and control people and animals. She is beautiful and sought by many for her abilities.Somehow, this book was not as captivating as Graceling. I found it slow at parts and the plot was a little confusing. I found myself re-reading sections.
