206 Bones (Temperance Brennan Series, Book 1)
I always enjoy reading Kathy Reichs. Not because her books are great literature, but because they are a quick and easy read. Maybe it's also because I live in the Montreal area and I get a kick out of recognizing the landmarks and understanding the idioms. I am always amazed by the science and the depth of knowledge required to solve a case. Even though the details may gross me out, I keep reading.
